BIO
Ekaterina Kunshina is a contemporary artist.
Ekaterina's journey into the world of art began in her early youth and was a natural fusion of her innate creativity and insatiable curiosity about the complexities of life. Ekaterina graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov. At the Academy, she honed her technical skills and delved deeper into the conceptual aspects of her work. Inspired by her teachers, Moscow Academy of Arts professor Aidan Salakhova and Moscow Academy of Arts professor Tatyana Nazarenko (one of Russia's leading contemporary artists), she began experimenting with different mediums, pushing the boundaries of her artistic expression.
As Ekaterina's career progressed, her work became a reflection of her personal growth and changing perspectives. Her art became a dialogue between her inner world and the external environment. She draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including literature, music, art, and travel. Ekaterina's art serves as a visual exploration of the human psyche and the connections that bind us all. Using color, texture, and symbolism, she invites viewers to reflect on the intricacies of human existence. Her work often touches on universal themes such as identity, belonging, and the passage of time. Each piece is a story waiting to be discovered, an invitation to dialogue with a journey into the artist's inner world.
